Objective
The Primary School Mathematics Teacher Training Program aims to train teachers who possess professional knowledge, skills, attitudes, and values related to the fundamental field of mathematics and mathematics education; who can develop themselves in matters related to the philosophy of lifelong learning; who can produce qualified solutions to problems with a sense of social responsibility; who play an active role in the transmission of cultural values; who are role models with their positive attitudes and behaviors; who adopt a contemporary understanding of mathematics education; and who have high self-confidence.
Duration of Study
The duration of the Primary School Mathematics Teacher Training Program is four years (8 semesters).
Language of Instruction
The language of instruction for the Primary School Mathematics Teacher Training Program is Turkish.
Quota
Although the quota varies each year, an average of 30 students are admitted to the program. To enroll in the program, it is necessary to obtain a sufficient score in the Quantitative section of the Higher Education Institutions Examination.
Graduation Requirements
To successfully complete the program, it is necessary to pass all courses in the program (equivalent to 240 ECTS credits), obtain a weighted grade point average of at least 2.0 out of 4.00, and successfully complete the graduation thesis.

2. Knows the learning areas and related concepts included in the mathematics curriculum.
3. Has knowledge about the historical development, philosophy, and scientific research methods of mathematics.
4. Has knowledge about the professional ethics of teaching.
5. Can effectively use mathematics subject knowledge and mathematics teaching knowledge in the education and training process.
6. Considers social, scientific, and ethical values in the stages of collecting, interpreting, and disseminating data related to mathematics and mathematics education.
7. Has the skills to conduct research individually and in groups, write reports, and make presentations by accessing scientific information sources.
8. Evaluates the knowledge and skills he/she possesses regarding mathematics and mathematics education with a critical approach.
9. Identifies learning needs related to mathematics education and develops himself/herself towards lifelong learning. 10. Participates in scientific, cultural, and artistic activities to share knowledge and experience.
11. Uses Turkish and mathematics as effective communication tools.
12. Can use English in professional development processes.
13. Uses Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in mathematics education.
14. Takes an active role in identifying problem situations encountered in mathematics education, researching appropriate solutions, and announcing the results.
