The "Hay(M)At - Mathematics in Life" project, led by mathematics teacher Ali Rıza BAŞÜN and supported by the TÜBİTAK 4004 Nature Education and Science Schools Support Program, with the participation of our faculty member Prof. Dr. Mihriban HACISALİHOĞLU KARADENİZ from the Department of Mathematics and Science Education, Faculty of Education, as an expert, was carried out face-to-face in Samsun between September 23-28, 2024. The project involved 3 experts from different universities, 7 instructors, and 24 students (5th and 6th grade). This project focused on mathematics in nature, philosophy, art and mathematics, environment, climate and mathematics, mathematics in architecture and history, and mathematics through games. Prof. Dr. Mihriban HACISALİHOĞLU KARADENİZ, who facilitated the participation of Giresun University Faculty of Education as a stakeholder and expert in the event, was also mentioned. We congratulate Mihriban HACISALİHOĞLU KARADENİZ, her entire team, and the students who participated in the event for their dedicated efforts.
