The Giresun University Mathematics Education Community's project, "Prospective Development Process of Prospective Mathematics Teachers: Workshop on the Use of Artificial Intelligence in Mathematics Education and Mathematics Stage in Villages," which was awarded funding under the UNIDES program run by the Ministry of Youth and Sports, has commenced its activities. The project, led by Berat SEMİZ, a 3rd-year student in the Primary School Mathematics Teacher Training Program, and advised by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Funda AYDIN GÜÇ from the Department of Mathematics Education, has successfully completed its first activities with the collaboration of Community Advisor Dr. Lecturer Türkan Berrin KÖSE and all community members. As part of the project's initial activities, a "Seminar on the Use of Artificial Intelligence in Mathematics Education," a "Workshop on the Use of Artificial Intelligence Applications in Mathematics Education," and an "AI-Supported Mathematics Education Activities Hackathon Competition" were held between May 7-8, 2025. Assoc. Prof. Dr. from Hacettepe University also participated in the project. Within the scope of the events, which featured Bahadır YILDIZ as a speaker, students from the Trabzon University Mathematics Education Club and their advisor, Dr. Lecturer Tuğba ÖZTÜRK, also participated as stakeholders. Participants had the opportunity to engage in all activities practically, and showed great interest in the "AI-Supported Mathematics Education Activities Hackathon Competition." Following the jury's evaluation, the winning group was awarded a first-place plaque. Thank-you plaques and certificates were presented to those who contributed to the project by the Vice Rector and Dean of the Faculty of Education, Prof. Dr. Güven ÖZDEM.
