Within the framework of school-based professional development activities, and as part of the R&D unit activities of the Giresun Provincial Directorate of National Education, a workshop on teaching mathematics through games was organized in collaboration with Giresun University on October 23, 2022, at the Çıtlakkale Secondary School Mathematics Workshop. The activity, led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mihriban HACISALİHOĞLU KARADENİZ from Giresun University, was attended by 40 mathematics teachers from various schools in Giresun city center. Following theoretical information on teaching mathematics through games, the participating teachers conducted group work applying traditional children's games adapted to mathematical concepts.
