On April 18, 2025, Prof. Dr. Cemalettin YILDIZ, a faculty member in the Primary School Mathematics Teacher Training Program at Giresun University's Department of Mathematics Education, held a talk titled "Mathematics Teacher Candidates Meet Books" in his office in Block C. During this event, Prof. Dr. YILDIZ introduced first-year mathematics teacher candidates to books related to mathematics education that they might need throughout their studies and after starting their careers. The teacher candidates asked Prof. Dr. YILDIZ questions about the books they were interested in and had the opportunity to examine the books firsthand. The talk increased the teacher candidates' awareness of books related to mathematics education. Furthermore, the teacher candidates gained a better understanding of the importance of reading and acquired valuable information about mathematics textbooks.
