Webinar on Teaching Mathematics Through Traditional Children's Games

This training focused on the role and importance of games in mathematics education, sharing fun and effective methods for learning mathematics. It also introduced various materials and resources that can be used in mathematics teaching. Topics such as effective resource use and material selection were discussed. The webinar, conducted by Prof. Dr. Mihriban HACISALİHOĞLU KARADENİZ, a faculty member of the Department of Mathematics Education, Faculty of Education, was held online for two hours with 410 participants as part of the Dyscalculia Association's events. The target audience, consisting of teachers and teacher candidates, was presented with information about traditional children's games, a means of transmitting our cultural heritage, and how these games can be adapted to mathematical concepts.
