An orientation event was held on September 23, 2024, at 1:00 PM in room A21 of Block A in the Faculty of Education, with the participation of faculty members and first-year students from the Department of Mathematics Education. The event began with the head of the department, Prof. Dr. Hasan Hüseyin AKSU, providing information about himself and the department. Following this, other faculty members shared information about themselves and their areas of expertise. Students then introduced themselves. Prof. Dr. Cemalettin YILDIZ, the advisor for the first-year teacher candidates, provided detailed explanations about Giresun University's educational regulations, student information system, faculty facilities, student clubs within the university, scholarship opportunities, and departmental hierarchical structures. Finally, a visit was made to the university library, where the library environment and books were examined.
