On April 29, 2025, Mathematics Day was celebrated in the Black Sea Conference Hall of the Faculty of Education with the participation of faculty members from the Department of Mathematics Education and prospective mathematics teachers. As part of this event, prospective mathematics teachers gave presentations on the history of World Pi Day, watched a video about Mathematics Day, read poems about the number pi, participated in a pi memorization competition, a competition to find 3.14, created rebus puzzles related to pi, held a word competition containing pi, performed a theatrical show about the proof of pi, and the event concluded with a cake cutting and photo session. Through this activity, prospective teachers learned important information about pi and its history and had an enjoyable time. The event increased the awareness of prospective teachers regarding Mathematics Day. Furthermore, the prospective teachers bonded with each other and fully experienced the joy of fulfilling their responsibilities.
