A comprehensive training program was organized for teachers at the Giresun Science and Art Center as part of the "Development and Implementation of STEM Activities for Gifted Students" Research Project, led by Dr. Lecturer Firdevs İclal Karataş Aydın, a faculty member in the Department of Mathematics Education, Faculty of Education, Giresun University. The project, which ran from April 15, 2023, to April 15, 2025, provided teachers with in-depth knowledge and practical support on contemporary STEM approaches, engineering design, coding applications, the use of data collection sensors, and the processes of developing original STEM activities. These trainings aimed to increase teachers' theoretical and practical knowledge of STEM pedagogy and to enhance their capacity to design interdisciplinary, innovative, and high-level thinking-enhancing activities for gifted students. These trainings, conducted with the active participation of Giresun Science and Art Center teachers, were considered a significant step in improving the quality of differentiated STEM applications for gifted students in the region.
