Within the scope of the TÜBİTAK 4004 Nature Education and Science Schools Support Project, the project "Discovering Mathematics in My City," led by Cansu Kaya, a teacher from the Ministry of National Education, and with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Funda Aydın Güç from our faculty as the instructor, was selected as one of the 108 projects accepted by TÜBİTAK and deemed worthy of support. As part of the project, which took place in Samsun between September 8-12, 2025, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Funda Aydın Güç conducted a workshop titled "Nature in My Basket." In this workshop, students gained experience in both recognizing and protecting nature, as well as developing statistical process skills.
