Functions and Authority of the Department Board
The Department Board is responsible for the planning and evaluation processes related to the department's education, research, and academic development. The main functions and authorities of the Board are as follows:
- To make decisions regarding the planning, updating, and improvement of undergraduate education programs
- To evaluate course content, course loads, and faculty assignments
- To determine the principles regarding measurement and evaluation processes
- To provide opinions on academic activities (scientific research, projects, publications, etc.)
- To evaluate student success, graduation requirements, and academic advising processes
- To assist the Head of Department in administrative and academic matters related to the department

Meeting Frequency
The Department Board meets upon the call of the Head of Department. Extraordinary meetings may also be held to discuss urgent or special agenda items.

Decisions Made
Decisions made by the Department Board are determined by majority vote and may cover the following topics:
- Course programs and curriculum adjustments
- Faculty assignments
- Suggestions for improving education and training processes
- Academic activity and project planning
- Decisions regarding the strategic goals of the department
