Under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Cemalettin YILDIZ, a faculty member of the Primary School Mathematics Teacher Training program at Giresun University's Department of Mathematics Education, graduate students Ebru Nida ÖZELER and Büşra ÖZDEMİR organized a "Rebus Introduction" event for students at Bulancak Gazi Middle School on May 9, 2025. The event began with information about the historical development of rebus, a type of intelligence game, and explanations of the rules of rebus questions. Following this, different forms of rebus, "Rebusmatic and Rebusmetri Questions," were introduced to the students. After the introduction, examples of rebusmatic and rebusmetry questions were solved together with the students. Finally, the students created their own rebusmatic and rebusmetry questions and solved them in the classroom. This event increased the awareness of middle school students regarding the use of rebus questions in mathematics lessons. In addition, through this activity, students gained valuable information about "Rebusmatic and Rebusmetry Problems" that they can use in their mathematics lessons.
