Assoc. Prof. Dr. Cemalettin YILDIZ, a faculty member of the Primary School Mathematics Teacher Training Program at Giresun University's Department of Mathematics Education, conducted a science talk titled "A Journey into the World of Mathematics with Rebus Puzzles" at Dereli Martyr Captain İsmail Hakkı Öztopal Middle School and Dereli Anatolian High School on November 9, 2023. During this event, middle and high school students learned about the definition of rebus puzzles, their basic rules, and new information related to mathematical rebus puzzles. Through the presentation, students gained knowledge about mathematical rebus puzzles, increasing their awareness of the subject. Furthermore, students gained important information on how mathematics lessons can be enriched with rebus puzzles.
